Portable Fire Pump Applications

The right pump for the right mission. For ports, naval vessels, and sites where conventional pumps can't self-prime, Kube Pompa's dry-prime system is the only option. For civil defence, vehicle mounting, and industrial cover, Godiva and Hale. We match each pump to your application, terrain, flow and pressure requirements.

Ports, Harbours & Shipyards
Conventional portable fire pumps cannot draw water from an open dock, quayside, or harbour basin โ€” they require a flooded suction or a separate primer. Kube Pompa's patented dry-prime system solves this completely.
Why Kube Pompa is the only viable choice for port and harbour firefighting: Ports draw water from below the quayside โ€” often 4โ€“8 metres below grade. A conventional centrifugal pump requires a separate vacuum primer and still struggles beyond 3 m. Kube Pompa's patented system draws from up to 10 metres depth, primes at 6 m in 5 seconds, and handles the seawater, debris and oily water found in port environments โ€” without a mechanical seal to fail. If the suction hose comes out of the water, it reprimes in seconds when put back. No other portable pump can do this.
Typical requirements
  • Suction from quayside, pier or dock (4โ€“10 m depth)
  • Seawater and debris-tolerant pump
  • Fast deployment alongside a vessel or quay
  • No mechanical seal (prevents saltwater damage)
  • Rapid re-prime after hose breaks suction
  • Lightweight enough to carry to pier end

Oil & Gas
High-capacity pump systems for petroleum facilities, refineries, pipelines and offshore platforms across the Gulf and Africa. Where water is drawn from the sea or an open basin, Kube Pompa's dry-prime system eliminates priming failures offshore.
Typical requirements
  • High-capacity flow for large-area suppression
  • Diesel-driven for extended standby operation
  • Draws from seawater, bilge water or contaminated sources
  • No mechanical seal failure in oily water environments
  • Foam induction capability
  • Skid-mounted for crane deployment

Civil Defence & Fire Services
EN 1028 and NFPA 1901-certified pumps for fire tenders, rescue vehicles and rapid-response brigades across the Middle East and Africa.
Typical requirements
  • EN 1028 or NFPA 1901 certification
  • Vehicle-mounted midship or rear-mount
  • Portable first-response units
  • Reliable priming system
  • High-flow for structural firefighting
  • Twin discharge valve configurations
Recommended pumps

Wildland & Forestry
Lightweight portable pumps for remote terrain, natural water sources and rapid deployment against wildland and brush fires. Where the water source is a wadi, irrigation canal, or reservoir with variable depth, Kube Pompa's 10 m suction capability is a critical advantage.
Typical requirements
  • High suction lift from natural sources (up to 10 m)
  • Lightweight and man-portable
  • Rapid deployment in under 60 seconds
  • Handles muddy, silty or debris-laden water
  • Debris-tolerant priming โ€” no primer to fail
  • EN 14466 portable pump standard
Recommended pumps

Industrial & Mining
High-durability pump systems for factories, petrochemical plants, power stations and mining operations requiring reliable standby fire protection.
Typical requirements
  • Fixed or mobile installation
  • Self-contained diesel standby units
  • Skid-mounted for quick repositioning
  • High-volume for large-area suppression
  • Foam system compatibility
  • Corrosion-resistant materials
Recommended pumps
